ABOUT
Adonijah Mitchell is a 24 year old composer and saxophonist based in Kitchener, Ontario.
Adonijah is currently working on a documentary featuring acclaimed visual artist Tim Whiten, titled "Tim Whiten: Navigating The Invisible" by Lodestar Studios.
Studying classical saxophone and graduating with an Honours Bachelor's degree in music and composition from Wilfrid Laurier University, Adonijah has also been commissioned to write music for an art installation, featured in Conservation Halton's Mountsberg "Winterlit" award-winning outdoor display.
He currently works on various student films, writes production music for music libraries, and has had his music selected as both a finalist and a highly-regarded submission for Score Relief 2024's film scoring competition.
As a graduate, Adonijah has visited to speak on composing for visual media and digital audio production at Wilfrid Laurier University, as well as had some of his orchestral works performed by professional ensembles.
